Does FlightScope X3C Work with E6 Connect?
The FlightScope X3 and its current successor the X3C are fully compatible with E6 Connect. Every X3C purchase includes a 12-course E6 Connect license for iOS and PC as standard, and the launch monitor connects to the software natively without additional hardware or third-party adapters. E6 Connect is one of four simulation platforms officially supported by the X3C alongside FS Golf, The Golf Club 2019 (TGC 2019), and Creative Golf 3D.
What the X3C Includes Out of the Box
The FlightScope X3C ships with a 12-course E6 Connect bundle covering courses including Pebble Beach, St Andrews Old Course, Bethpage Black, Bay Hill, and Harbour Town, licensed for both iOS and PC. This is not a trial version. It is a permanent license covering the 12 included courses.
For golfers who want access to more courses, FlightScope also sells upgrades directly:
E6 Connect Basic: 39 courses, $300 per year
E6 Connect Expanded: 90+ courses, $600 per year
These subscriptions are purchased through FlightScope and apply to the X3C in the same way as any other compatible device.
How the FlightScope X3 Connects to E6 Connect
The X3C integrates with E6 Connect through the FS Golf app running on a connected iPad or PC. The launch monitor communicates via WiFi hotspot. Once the radar is powered on and paired to the host device, E6 Connect detects it automatically. When the software loads, it displays a list of compatible FlightScope devices identified by serial number, and the user selects theirs to activate the connection.
The radar does not require a separate data bridge or integration module. The Fusion Tracking Technology in the X3C, which combines 3D Doppler radar tracking with synchronized image processing, sends shot data directly to E6 Connect in real time on each swing.
FlightScope X3 E6 Connect: Indoor Setup Requirements
For indoor use with E6 Connect or any simulation platform, the X3C requires the following:
Position the radar 8 to 10 feet behind the tee
Allow at least 8 feet of ball flight between tee and screen
Use Titleist RCT balls or standard balls fitted with one aluminium sticker (included with purchase) for accurate spin data
Fluorescent lighting can interfere with the radar's image processing component. If the room uses fluorescent fixtures, FlightScope recommends shielding them with aluminium hardware cloth or switching to incandescent, halogen, or sodium lighting.
What Data the X3C Sends to E6 Connect
The FlightScope X3C tracks over 50 data parameters across full swing, chipping, and putting. When connected to E6 Connect, the simulator receives the shot data it needs to render ball flight and place the shot accurately on course. The core parameters include:
Full swing: ball speed, club speed, smash factor, vertical and horizontal launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, carry distance, total distance, apex height, club path, face angle, angle of attack, dynamic loft, and face impact location.
Short game and putting: launch speed, ball direction, spin rate, roll distance, skid distance, bounce count, and ball speed profile.
E6 Connect uses ball speed, launch angle, and spin rate as its primary inputs to simulate shot shape and distance. The X3C provides all three with the accuracy expected at this tier.

Beyond E6 Connect, the X3C works with:
FS Golf app (iOS and Android): FlightScope's native practice application, included with the radar at no additional cost. No subscription required.
The Golf Club 2019 (TGC 2019): Full-course simulation with user-created courses. Licensed separately.

The X3C does not require a FlightScope software subscription for its core features. The FS Golf app is included, and face impact location data is unlocked by default on the X3C.
X3 vs X3C: What Changed
The original FlightScope X3 and the current X3C use the same Fusion Tracking Technology and measure the same data parameters. The X3C introduced a carbon fibre shell, reducing weight and improving portability. Battery life on the X3C is rated at 6+ hours. Software compatibility is identical between the two models.
If you are comparing an X3C purchase to a unit already running on the original X3, both work with E6 Connect in the same way.

The FlightScope X3C is priced at $13,495 USD (regular price $14,995, currently discounted). AED pricing is available through Cero Golf. FlightScope offers a trade-in programme for existing X3 owners moving to the X3C.
